How do I know if my CCVT is good for face recognition?

Before setting up Scry we conduct an environmental feasibility study. We evaluate the video surveillance system environment in order to make sure it works for the desired scenarios with facial recognition. In other words that your cameras watch under the best angle and in the best place for the recognition. We also make sure that your cameras cover the needed area for the desired purposes and scenarios. When feasibility study is finished we provide conclusions and recommendations to better accomplish goals as well as the best options for the recognition system to work with minimum hardware resources.

What are hardware requirements?

Based on your video surveillance system parameters, environment features, locations, amount of people, purposes and scenarios you want to detect and track we compile a list of hardware required for Scry to work efficiently in those conditions.

Where do you store data?

Data can be stored on premises locally or we can provide a cloud storage.

What are general recommendations for my camera to work with recognition?

It should watch faces at a best direct angle. Use camera with good optics and zoom option rather than highest resolution, i.e. full HD with optical zoom is much better than 4K without zoom. The light should be smooth and all face lit evenly. The longer face can be seen by camera the better.

How do you respect personal privacy?

We can use facial recognition anonymizing user data so that Scry can recognize and predict factors without compromising any specific person’s privacy. Scry does not store face pictures either but only vector data which cannot be used separately outside to identify anybody.

Can I set up an ignore list for Scry?

Yes, it is possible.
